LAX → Newport Beach

LAX to Newport Beach, one car, one price.

A private chauffeured transfer from LAX into Orange County, quoted in full before you book. No shared shuttle, no surge, no meter running down the 405. Gratuity and tolls included.

How the trip works
1 — One car, one price
Not a shared shuttle. The car is yours from the terminal to the door, with no other passengers and no other stops on the way.
2 — Flight tracked
Give the flight number when you book. A late arrival after a long-haul does not need a phone call or a rebooking.
3 — Fixed across two counties
The fare covers the whole run into Orange County, tolls included. Distance is priced once, when you book, not accumulated as you go.
4 — Room for real luggage
The Executive SUV seats six with five full-size bags. Pick by what you are actually carrying — the form shows capacity per vehicle.
The route

The trip where a meter costs you most.

Forty-odd miles south from the terminal, most of it on the 405 through the South Bay and into Orange County. It is the longest routine transfer we drive and the one where the difference between a fixed fare and a metered one stops being academic — an hour of stopped traffic is an hour of a meter, or it is nothing at all.

It is also the trip most often arrived at after a long-haul, which is why the chauffeur meets you inside arrivals rather than directing you across a road to a pickup bay. Fashion Island, Balboa, Corona del Mar, an office in Irvine, a hotel on Jamboree — the drop-off is the address you entered.

How long is LAX to Newport Beach?

Around forty-five miles and, without traffic, roughly fifty minutes down the 405. In practice it is the trip most affected by when you land: a Friday evening arrival can run well past ninety minutes. The fare is fixed at booking either way.

Why not take a shuttle or a ride-hail?

A shared shuttle is cheaper and can add an hour of other people's drop-offs at the end of a long flight. A ride-hail is a fine car at an unknown price — this is the distance where surge pricing bites hardest, and where the driver who accepts a forty-five mile trip at 11pm is not guaranteed. You are paying us for the number being settled in advance.

Do you serve the rest of Orange County?

Yes — Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Laguna and the surrounding area. Enter the address you actually want and the form prices it; if both ends of the trip are in greater Los Angeles or Orange County, we can quote it.

Is John Wayne closer for my trip?

Usually, if you have the choice — SNA is about fifteen minutes from Newport Beach against roughly an hour from LAX. We serve both, so book whichever your flight actually uses rather than the one that makes for a shorter drive.
