Beverly Hills is a short run from LAX and an unpredictable one. The 405 north through the Sepulveda Pass decides whether it is twenty-five minutes or ninety, and nothing about your flight predicts which. It is the single most common route we drive, and the one where a metered fare punishes you hardest for landing at the wrong hour.
Ours does not move. The fare is set from the trip you entered — distance, vehicle class, time of day — and charged when you book, so a jam on the 405 costs you the time and nothing else. How long does LAX to Beverly Hills take?
Typically half an hour, and realistically anywhere from twenty minutes to well over an hour depending on the 405 and the time of day. Your fare does not change either way — it is fixed when you book, so traffic is our problem rather than a number that climbs while you sit in it.
Which terminal will my chauffeur meet me at?
Whichever one your flight lands at. You give the flight number when you book and dispatch tracks it, so the chauffeur is at the right terminal even if your gate changes. For international arrivals at Tom Bradley, you are met after customs.
Can I book a return to LAX as well?
Yes — book it as a second trip in the same form. A drop-off at the airport needs no flight number, and your chauffeur allows for traffic to the terminal in the pickup time.
Is this cheaper than a taxi or a ride-hail?
Not always, and we would rather say so. What it is, is fixed: the price you see is the price charged, with no surge multiplier at 6pm on a Friday and no gratuity decision at the end. On this route ride-hail surge is common enough that the comparison often lands in our favour anyway.
