How the trip works
Going home
The trip nobody books in advance.
Arrivals get planned weeks out. Departures get arranged the night before, by somebody who has been walking a theme park for four days and now has to work out how a family of five and a week of luggage crosses thirty-five miles of Los Angeles freeway before a boarding gate closes.
It is worth ten minutes at the start of the holiday rather than at the end of it. Book the return when you book the arrival, ask for the same seats, and the fare is fixed from that moment — so a jam on the 5 costs you the time and nothing else. Start a booking.
How early should we leave Anaheim for LAX?
It is about thirty-five miles and roughly forty minutes with clear roads, and considerably more through the morning or evening crush — the route crosses two of the busiest stretches of freeway in the country. Work back from what your airline asks for, add the traffic, and book that pickup time. We drive to the time you set.
Can you provide child seats for the return?
Tell us what you need in the notes box on the request — in your own words — and it reaches dispatch with your reservation and appears on your confirmation email so you can check it was read. If it is not on your confirmation, call dispatch before the day.
Would John Wayne be easier?
Usually, if your airline flies it — SNA is about fifteen minutes from the resort area against roughly forty to LAX, and a much smaller airport to leave from with children. We serve both, so book whichever your ticket actually says.
What if our plans change?
Cancelling more than 24 hours before pickup is refunded in full — reply to your confirmation email or call dispatch with your reference. Inside 24 hours the fare is retained, so if something moves at short notice, call dispatch first.
